We have been learning and growing for over thirteen years as a farm.  In the past couple of years we have added heirloom produce, oil to fuel recycling, and fresh happy chicken eggs from kitchen waste, to our list of things to grow.  We have been successfull in finding a market for our local produce and we are trying to fill that need. 

 

Last year with the below freezing weather for over two weeks (we lost everything) we saw the need to add more protection for our crops. Fully utliizing our unused grassland with greenhouse or high tunnel growing systems allow us to work better with mother natures extremes and increase production all in an environmentally gentle way.  With that in mind we applied for (and received) a grant and are in the process of adding a new 26 x 100 x 14 greenhouse.
